Your Future Self called, she wants you to know healing isn't about feeling "perfect" all the time

The other day, I was on a call with my clients and we were talking about what it means to be “regulated.” And thanks to social media and really good marketing from from women who woke up one day and decided to become somatic coaches, we have this really sticky preconceived notion that being regulated means being perfect - always happy, high energy 24/7, never sad or angry or scared.

And honestly? That’s BS. Because life is always going to have stress, but it’s about how we hold that stress. About how relentless our self-belief and self-trust truly is.

My hope is that this guide will give you a chance to meet a future version of yourself who gets that healthy means curious and flexible, not perfect. Let me know how it goes 💛

Let's talk about how exhausting it is trying to be perfect...

  • Feeling like you're failing at life constantly no matter how hard you try

  • Panic googling every symptom, every sensation, trying to "fix" it

  • The way you talk to yourself (oof, willing to bet it's not suuuper kind)

  • Trying every technique you can find and none of them working when it actually matters

  • Feeling too activated for the gentle stuff and too exhausted for the intense stuff, stuck in the middle with nothing that really moves the needle…

So long as you believe that "healthy" means being happy, high energy, and perfect all the time no matter what, you'll never get there. You'll always feel like you're failing and give up.

That's because you're up against an unattainable goal.

Instead, this guide will help you gently rewire your beliefs about what healing is meant to feel like. Because you're not broken, you're not beyond repair, but you do have to leave that perfectionist mentality at the door.

If we haven't met, I'm Kate!

After struggling with nervous system regulation for more than 10 years...

... I realized that information overload and misguidance can be a serious obstacle for women who are trying to heal, so I became a Nervous System Coach.

With a Master’s of Public Health and a background in health research and behavior change...

... I felt inspired to create the no-fluff, actionable programs that I wish I had when I was on my nervous system regulation journey.

And I did!

The result?

To date, I’ve helped over 500 women heal their nervous systems so they can get back to doing what actually matters in life, without thinking about healing all the time.

My hope is that this guide is your opportunity to set yourself up for success in healing, not perfection, but a whole, enriched human experience.
